White sour cream doctored up mix (DH) cut into four layers and spread with almond butter cream icing. Iced in almond flavored butter cream, and hearts that I have been practicing with Royal Icing were added. The roses are gum paste.

June, I have never heard of Vim. I have been washing and washing all day long, using lemon juice, and my palms are a rosy pink right now and my fingernails are a deeper pink. Serves me right, doesn't it for not going that extra mile and putting gloves on.

Linda, try washing your hands with Vim, the cream cleanser. It has the strength but not that bleach smell.
Yes, it is nice to admire everyone's work & realize we all have are own styles. We each are better at some techniques than others, but I like that we encourage each others efforts.

Me too, Nadia and Goreti. That is one of the things that I do love so much about this site too! The friendships and support! Also the validations that others give. So many times, there is competition among other artists and designers which can create back biting and one-up-man-ship. I rarely come across that here-if ever. It's all support and people helping people.

You are so right Nadia.  This is an amazing group, not only in talent but in the support and friendship.  This is my favorite site.

lol!! I love you Gail! You make my whole day! I don't want to smell bleachy, so I'll start with the lemon juice.

Gail, I'm working on it. In fact I got on today originally to ask anyone if they have a great remedy to remove food paste color off of their hands (besides wearing gloves, which I obviously did not do, so now I have vivid red hands that look like I just murdered someone..well...they are kind of a hot pink now). George and I were going to go out later, and I really don't want to look like some goofball with shocking pink hands. Any suggestions besides the obvious of wearing gloves??
