Two layers of 8" rounds of Chocolate cake with raspberry filling and two layers one 9" and one 10" rounds of yellow cake with banana filling on top. I didn't carve much I shaped it wit the crumb coat and buttercream. The cake is covered in green fondant. I used a large piece of lace as a stencil and spayed it black, but that didn't do as much as I hoped. I hand painted flowers and details. I combined fondant and gumpaste to make the brim. I put a banana under the brim on both sides over night to give it the right shape. I found out after that the cake was for a doggie's 1st birthday :) She also had a huge floral bouquet shaped like a teapot!

Actually being that it was a dog, I would have said:
Arf....Arf.... Doggie for thank you.

lol - Queens of Sweet!  I do hope they didn't give the doggy any, certainly not at 1 year old.  As you say, if they had told you, you could have made one of those Eat Me cakes in doggy stuff. I always like to know who the recipient of my cakes is going to be - usually to ensure a personalised touch, but I shall make doubly sure to know in future!

Thank you Katy Nott, funny thing was I found out that it was ordered for a doggie's first birthday. I wish the client had told me this. I would have made a layer that the dog would have loved :)
