Finally got around to trying out Sandra Smiley's recipe posted here. Don't have a bundt pan, so I did it in an a standard 8" cake tin. Considering I was following an American recipe (with the vagaries of different names for ingredients etc), I think it came out pretty well. Certainly tastes lovely and smelled gorgeous while it was baking.

I did Sandra yes. A couple of little differences to yours (simply because I either didn't have it, or didn't know what it was lol!) For example Canola Oil - no idea so used all vegetable oil. Apple sauce - could be anything here, so didn't use it. Granulated, used caster. Even faffed around using american measuring cups - give me weights any day lol!
Way to go, Katy! Looks like you were able to figure out the "Yank" recipe -lol.
