Inside is chocolate cake with chocolate fudge frosting filling. All details are fondant. Closer look at ruby slippers. The "rubies" are cake sparkles. Wow, those things get EVERYWHERE - it's the cake equivalent of craft glitter.

What I like, is the fact that you did not try and make it a 'picture', but added all of the elements more like a collage. It fascinates me. Plus, it makes ME have to think...okay, now what does this stand for? Then when I have figured it out, it's one of those....Oh! I get it now! This is one of my all time favorite cakes.

I missed this cake Eileen.  How adorable. Your "bricks" are flawless. Love all the elements on your cake.

Thanks, Linda! I actually cut and placed each brick separately. Each stripe of the rainbow ws also individually cut and placed. There's no better way to discover your cake is not as level as you think. :)

With cakes coming in so fast these days, I totally missed this one. It is cute as can be, Eileen. I love how you have incorporated all of the elements of the Wizard of Oz. Did you have a brick pattern to make the yellow brick road? Love it all!
