I did too, Gail, and my thyroid quit working at the same time, so I really really had a hard time losing any of it. (still do!)

hum .i stopped smoking 1-1/2 yrs ago , ! but my hands just wont get that steady flow , i guess i would have to keep trying . maybe somday i'l get it ,

It takes a steady hand, too, Gail. I used to smoke 2 packs of cigarettes a day! My hands shook so bad that it was really really hard for me to do piping. Then I quit smoking when I was 33 years old, and with that, I gained back a steady hand.

 iv seen  your works , you can ,  , and i wish i could pipe , ! told you we all wish we could do the nice work some1 els duz . if i could pip or even get 1/2 as good as your piping i will give it a shot , lol , but not yet , thats for sure he he , its like hand writeing , and mine stinks .

It's the only way I knew how for years. Now I have to learn a whole new way with fondant. But I'm trying!

your piping is truly awesome .i think they still on wedding cakes ! iv seen some . its not easy to do this kind of cake ,

Thank you Gail, I don't think too many people even use these kinds of pillars anymore. I have an attic full of them!
