Lighted Christmas Tree Cake
The tree is rice crispy treats covered in fondant. I had a set of cookie cutters for the gingerbread tree kits and I used them as molds for the rice crispies. My husband and I built the cake stand with a pvc pipe center, through which I strung micro christmas lights. I layered the lights between each tier of the tree. The poinsettias are all hand made, and the flavor is dark chocolate.
