Katy all our amenities are buried underground. So when the trees snapped & fell on wires...we didn't get affected...so fortunate. I saw the winds in UK on the news....scary stuff

Yes June - lots of it.  100mph winds in some places - many flooded and without power today.  Nightmare for them.  We are so lucky in where we live, we never get the absolute worse of anything (so far), although Mick did have to get up in the wee small hours and wrap a dishcloth round the door knocker as it was driving us crazy, keep knocking in the wind!

Lovely Katy..... Good show..... You had rain....we had more snow on top of the ice storm last Saturday. So blessed we didn't lose power like thousands of others..
