Made with Platinum Paste. I tried to capture the translucence of the petals.

They are the best kind, Betty...those that bloom for a life time and those that are not eaten by deer!

I'm full of surprises...:)) MY Mother used to have a beautiful garden with all types of "old fashioned" plants, I grew up with lots of flowers around me. Still have a lot at the house now, things that bloom forever, not just for one year.

Thank you, Goreti!!!  Betty, you just blew my mind!  Can't believe you recognized "Sterling Silver"!!  I grew it years ago and it is one of my favorite roses and has a smell of old garden roses, heavenly!  Thank you both so much!

Beautiful Sandra...lovely color... sometimes the fresh rose is called "sterling silver". I had a wedding a while back and they used this color rose. So pretty.
