As I said, Katy, I do it in stages because I get tired of all the petals too.  Love buds because they only have a few and are quick, quick - LOL.

Katy, I counted the petals and there are 40, about half of them wired.

see that's why I never get a really lovely rose - get so bored with all the petals lol!

Thank you so much for your sweet words, Katy!  I have no idea how many petals, just keep adding until it looks finished.  I did discover a good while ago that if you want a rose to look real, it must have as many petals as a real rose....sometimes a lot!  This one has even more petals than it appears in the photo above.
