lol Sandra. you can do so much with them , just like when i did my royal icing and gelitin butterfly , , cut your shapes outline with royal, chocolate , buttercream , if you put it on fondant you have to glue them down , i think every 1 could have fun with this , like paper doll cut outs . the ones i used are the tie dyed one SUNKIST , they do have many flavors and colors , cant wait to see all the cool stuff the cakers come up with ,,; ))

Gail, I totally agree with Linda.  You are very creative and resourceful.  I have heard of other more complicated ways of making sugar stained glass and none looked any better than this!  And your little "slice of cake" cake is perfect with the decoration.  As I said before, very nice!

Well, it's more than 'okay' in my book. I have gone to purchase stained glass and this could be a dead ringer for it! You are one of the most resourceful people I know!! 2 thumbs up on creativity!

wellit's ok , i am sure many could do better with it , i just wanted to show how or what you can do with fruit roll ups , all kinds of stuff bows ribbons , so on event outfits for fig's ,

Never of thought of this but I used to make ribbon roses to decorate my children's cakes when they were young.  They used to love it.
