Yes the books are collector's items. You're right, there are not a lot of teachers. Kathleen started traveling to try and meet the demand, but it's overwhelming. I hope to teach someday, but have a long way to go yet in my training. But the practice is fun when I find time from my full time job to spend on it. I know how blessed I am to live so near Kathleen, and to be able to call her my friend. She is wonderful all around. Even if you had a teacher in your home town you'd want to take a master class with Kathleen because she is truly the very best. If you come to CA. let me know Linda. You can private message me.

I wish one day, Gail, we could all afford to meet somewhere and just share what we know with each other. Kind of have our own week of sharing. Wouldn't that be fun?

I just did a quick search on line, and they are anywhere from $400 to $700 dollars a book! Now that should tell you something, right? It's obviously a coveted skill technique that people want to learn with prices that high on one book.

I can't teach what I don't fully know, Gail. I'm wanting to learn so desperately how to do so many of the string works and stuff. If I knew how to do it, you bet I would teach it. I guess I'll just have to keep looking on line for one of the older books that was the original Lambeth (they cost a blooming fortune!) and see what else is out there in books. There isn't a whole lot, because I have looked before. Even a used Lambeth book is around $300.00 sometimes, when you can find it.

What gets me, is the fact that this technique is so absolutely beautiful, and generates sooooo much conversation, and yet, so little taught! Kathleen's name is the only name that I keep hearing that teaches this! My heavens, wouldn't you think there would be more teachers that would offer this as a class? Surely there must be a lot of people who would love taking a class like this, and you would think that there would be more teachers everywhere offering even a simple class, like a 101 on piping skills as an introduction into Lambeth. Rima, you have been so blessed to have been able to take her classes. As I have said before, if I ever get the chance, (I am in the process of freeing myself up from obligations) I am going to take it.
