This little guy actually inspired the entire cake!  My daughter saw a figurine called the "donut warrior" created by The Republic of Cute and instantly fell in love with it.  So I sketched the cake around it.  The cupcake was also inspired by characters created by the same artist (The Republic of Cute has some adorable clay sculptures...all with faces...so neat!)
