Kidney celebration
Red Velvet, filled and covered with Meringue and red velvet crumbs. I used merigue because I didn´t have cream cheese at hand. Made it to celebrate my kidney transplant (March 15th) that took place 12 years ago, thanks God.

Great idea Luz - both the cake and the meringue instead of cream cheese. I bet that tasted delicious. Amazing what we can come up with isn't it? Necessity being the Mother of Invention.
