Cake Decorating Community - Cakes We Bake

This was my daughter's wedding cake. Her wedding was a vintage theme and she decided on her design about a week before the wedding! I had to scramble to get it right but she was thrilled with it. I tinted Satin Ice fondant to a very soft pink. For the piping I just did string work. The beads were each piped using graduating sizes of tips. I had to travel almost 4 hours to do this cake and I was working in her mother in laws beautiful kitchen. She wanted real flowers on the cake so we used the same flowers that she had in her boquet and in the girls boquets. Hope you all enjoy it!

Thank you. This was my daughter's wedding cake and she came up with her design about a week before her wedding and I was scrambling to get it just right. She thinks this is the most beautiful cake I have ever made! I just noticed that this is the back of the cake! The front had some pink old fashioned roses on it.
