Well, thank you June. That means a lot to me. I have just figured that piping is kind of 'old school' and that not too many people really like it too much, so I have been struggling trying to learn how to do fondant and other mediums.

Well, we all have our strengths & weakness.  I would KILL to have your skills with buttercream, especially your piping. It is amazing. Just plain don't have the "knack"

June, it does not come naturally to me. It takes me forever to get just a few done. I've saved these few since my God daughter's wedding and treated them like they were gold because I did not want to have to make new ones until these were used.

Gail, I wonder if maybe you need to put a little extra water or shortening in your butter cream? Does it put stress on your hand as you pipe? I had used the Wilton recipe for years but eventually, I got carpel tunnel so bad, that I had to look for another recipe. The Wilton one was just too stiff for me. Once I found a good recipe that was actually softer and smoother, I don't have that problem anymore.

I DONT KNOW WHY I HAVE SUCH A HARD TIME PIPING ! SOMTIMES MY HANDS FREEZZ UP AND FIGARS GO ALL BENT OUT OF SHAPE ! MAYBE , ??  ITS HARD TO KEEP A STEADY FLOW ! OR MAYBE I TRY TO GO TO FAST ! I LOVE ALL THE PIPING IAM AT AAWWW WHEN I SEE IT , SO BEAUTIFUL AND WHEN ITS WHITE ON WHITE ITS AWESOME , THE DETAIL ! AWESOME JOB, THAN THE TOUCH OF GUMPASTE FLOWERS , JUST TRUE BEAUTY, IT SHOWS YOU HAVE IT ALL !
