Cake Decorating Community - Cakes We Bake

Decided to make a tiny Owl, 3" tall, that I might use on my daughters bebe shower cake. Won't know until I get it assembled if will fit into the scheme. Baby shower e- invites had baby owls theme going on.

lol Linda -poor thing.  So there is an issue with the computer of some sort then.  Back to basics - unplug it and plug it back in again.  Your computer will probably say something like 'new hardware found'.  It probably won't, but if it asks you if you want to configure it or check for latest drivers, do so and follow the on screen instructions.

If that doesn't work - can you remember when this first happened?  If so, try doing a system restore to previous date.  Your computer should automatically create restore points and you can choose to go back to  a date before you had problems.  You won't lose any work if you do that, but if you had installed any new programs, you will have to install them again.

The thing I wasn't going to mention before is that, apparently keyboard's going potty can be a sign of a virus.  I suggest you also run a full scan with your virus software.

by the way, I did a spel check on ergonomicaly down below, out of force of habit and because I wasn't sure of my speling.

Katy, the old key board did the same thing yesterday before I went and bought a new one. What is realy frustrating, is my old key board is an ergonomically corect one, and is spaced out wider than most, and it apears that they don't sel those in our area anymore. So, this new one is so darn hard for me to type on because it fels tight to me. George was cleaning the desk of the other day, and I am wondering if he knocked out a cord or something? I am so computer iliterate, I'm just dumb founded on this and don't know where to lok for the answer. Just lok at how many double leters it is mising! It's driving me crazy!

Gail, you sily wabit!

Hi Linda - is the new keyboard the same make/model as the old one?  If so, it may be a hardware conflict on your system.  Google your keyboard make and model and see if any blogs come up with issues with that keyboard.
