Gum Paste Gnome/Elf Figurine
This is my very 1st attempt at a 3 dimensional figurine from gum paste. He's not perfect but I think I did pretty ok for my 1st try. He's for an enchanted forest type practice cake I'll be making soon. Not for a customer or particular occasion. Just challenging myself to see what I'm capable of.

Thank you Katy. I'm not quite happy with his eyes but I had already decapitated him, replaced his head, and washed his face off (literally) twice, gave him eyelids b/c my 13 yr old grandson said he looked like a zombie gnome that was staring into people's souls...lol...so I said enough, just leave the poor little guy alone already.
