The true spirit of Christmas - A Christmas gift from a Christmas angel
In the true spirit of Christmas I just wanted to share this w/my CWB friends. As some of you know my heavy duty Sunbeam mixer pretty much died on me w/the last cake I made a few weeks ago. When my daughter came to drop my grandson off this morning she came in carrying a big pkg. I knew I hadn't ordered anything so I had no idea what it could possibly be. She said "Well, it has your name on it." I looked at the return address & instantly knew it was from a longtime dear friend of mine. I was still a little puzzled though & couldn't imagine what it could possibly be. She had sent me a msg on FB asking for my address & I thought she was mailing out Christmas cards but this was definitely not a card. My daughter was like "Well open it I wanna see what it is!" Opening it I felt just like a little kid on Christmas morning. Here is what was inside w/this note attached. Truly a Christmas blessing from a Christmas angel. Holiday blessings to you all.

Thanks Goreti, Katy, & Betty. Yes, Betty I will. I had planned to make a Christmas cake this year until my old mixer died. Now I can do it & will dedicate it to her on FB.

This is so true Sandra. They're both excellent brands so I think I'll be in business for a long time to come. My heart is filled to overflowing by their thoughtfulness & generosity & that my work is appreciated to the point that they would even think to do something like this for me.

Not only did I receive this but one of the young mom's I make bd cakes for her children has offered to give me a Kitchen Aid 5 qt Artesian style mixer that she has only used twice. So I am twice blessed :-)
