I do not remember the directions :) ........I believe I used "hidden pillars" and covered them in fondant.....I also did not use fondant for the people , I made gingerbread. It was a pretty easy cake.....everyone loved it!

I think you and I visited the same website and did the same cake for Christmas 2010...LOL!  Excellent job!

 

Did you follow the directions given for the candy cane supports, or did you do it another way?
