I really love this cake.  It reminds me so much of a style my mum used to use in her heyday and I get a twinge of remembrance every time I look at it.  My Mum has been gone 12 years now, but when she was younger, when she made a cake - boy did she make a cake!

i just had purchesd a used book of this  from ebay . you did an awesome job ,i am going to try one some day lol . awesome work , can i ask you were the patter came from for the collar ? i cant seem to find a pattern for that,;/
