Coffee Mug cake
Not exactly my best work but...I tried. Had a little trouble with my MMF. This is chocolate cake with biscof buttercream filling/frosted with chocolate SMBC & MMF. This was to resemble the mugs that the birthday boy makes as seen here:https://www.etsy.com/listing/166874327/2-mugs-crackle-glaze-robins-egg-blue?ref=sr_gallery_33&ga_search_query=rhyno&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery I'm trying my luck again and have mailed this to Austin, TX. Hopefully it makes it. As you can see the handle cracked so I had to make another one & my daughter will have to place it on the cake when it gets there.

Thanks Becky. Didn't do a very neat job but wasn't really in the mood and knew that it was probably not going to look perfect when it got there anyway. The pebble look believe it or not was fondant cut one by one to make it different sizes to look like the real mug. Took foeverrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Sandra, I don't even want to think about it. It did take forever and at first I hated the way it looked but by the time I got thru with it I think it looks pretty close to the real one.

Love this, Goreti! How long did it take to do the "crackle" around the bottom of the mug? Forever, I bet. Great job...and I like his mugs, too :o)

Thank you both. It wasn't as neat as I wanted it to be but something was a little off with the fondant. Still I think he will recognize what it is right away.
