A cake I made for a birthday.
This cake is vanila sponge with a jam and butter cream filling, covered with dark chocolate ganache, top layer is sugar paste.l
The base is 12 inch top is 10 inch.
All the lace work is royal icing plus the beads round the top tear and dusted with starlight comet white.
The wings are made from sugar paste and dusted with starlight comet white The braid which runs round the bottom of cake is royal icing, The drape is made from sugar paste and flower paste which was dusted with white comet.
All the cake was edible.
