You know Gail, my Mom had a cookie "press". She used it to make most of her cookies. Especially her shortbread. I don't remember her ever using too many cutters. Only for making Linzer & Belgium cookies. I still have several of her cutters. Matter of fact, her busciut/cookie cutter I use ALL the time. I was smiling when I used them to make the Belgium cookies for my nieces & nephews for Christmas. Always brings back good memories. I never liked that cookie press. It was big & clumsy. Of course today, they have fancy "electric" cookie presses. Just isn't as fun. Like my cutters. :0)

I found the most interesting flavoring about a month ago at my local grocery store. imported from a Carribean comp. A mixture of fruit flavors, vanilla & almond. Used it my last batch of sugar cookies & the icing to go on them. Really liked the flavor.
