I was inspired to make this cake after seeing Nadia's cakes here on CWB. Mine isn't even close to how beautiful hers are, but at least I gave it my best shot and found that it isn't as hard as I thought! I just need practice on my string work, and need to go down to a smaller tip. It was a fun cake to make! Thank you Nadia!!

Thank you Shaira. It was not as hard as you might think. I just used different sizes of the same type of cutter (like a large daisy cookie cutter for the sides and then a smaller daisy cookie cutter to cut the inside out of the big one), and then I also used the wrong side of a decorator tip to make circles, etc.. Then I cut here and there to intersect all of the designs that I used and went over the cut lines with string work to cover up the cuts. In other words, it was kind of like putting a puzzle together. lol
yup Shaira this is very pretty , i love it, Linda is awesome with every thing she duz her work has a style no one else can do , ! when you see it you know its her's ,if you need any input on any thing she 's always there to help , she is an awesome friend to have , ; )
this is nice! how were you able to make the "lace effect"? aside from the royal icing stringwork.. :)
