Don't know what recipe you used Gail, but if you if you add lots of lemon zest and freshly squeezed lemon juice, you will get some more zip to your cake. Also adding less sugar to your icing and more fresh lemon juice will give you a nice tangy flavour with your cake.

thank you all . thank you Goreti . my man said its ok .. but I am not liking it .. maybe its my meds but I was hoping for a more tangy taste .. I guess .. yes looks so yummy ... :(

Lemon & blueberry is such a great flavor--I've even made blueberry jam with lemon.  yummmmm  After I saw this delicious looking cake, I had to have something sweet.
