I was so thrilled with this rose. Then I got the bright idea of shutting the ac and open windows since weather had cooled a bit. Not a good idea since it became very humid. In the morning when I went to dust it, the petals were soft and wilting. Was able to save it but not as pretty as it was.

I've started to use Tylose powder which seems to help when it's humid.  Nothing more frustrating than to go to bed with satisfaction and then something out of your control affects the final product.  The petals on this are perfect!!

Thanks everyone.  @Linda, yes I can certainly imagine.  Honestly I think I just wanted to cry out of sheer frustration.  So kind of propped up the petals & into oven with light on.

I understand. I did something similar at cake convention in Kansas City. My hibiscus was not totally dry and I took a shower that night. You can guess the rest!!

Yours is still beautiful!
