Hello again I'm back. Sandra, my daughter just left and she wanted me to tell you she was so impressed with your paintings of both cats and she loved what all of you did for me. I downloaded all of the pictures & put them in a folder so I can look at them whenever I like. :)))
Thank you so much, Bonnie (look who is blushing now!).
Hey Betty, she ain't kidding! She is the local neighbor 'cat lubber'! That is one reason she can do these, with such warmth, and expression...
And like Katy said Sandra, 'you are one seriously talented artist'!
Thank you, Betty! I am so glad you are enjoying your kitties. Can you tell that I am a crazy cat lady? I really enjoyed painting the little guys. Your daughter is a fine artist! You should talk her into trying painting on fondant. It is just like painting on board with oil.
Just beautiful !!! My daughter will be here this PM can't wait to show her your painting. I love it.
Thank you Gali, Luz and Katy! I have you, Gali, to thank for introducing me to this technique and talking me into trying this. Well, I absolutely LOVE it! The fondant is more responsive than canvas or (my choice) gessoed board. The only problem I have seen is that it fades gradually. The color seems to be absorbed into the fondant.
The encouragement and support of all of you, my good friends, has given me the confidence to try a lot of things I would have never believed I could do. Thank you, all!
lady you are one seriously talented artist!
What a work of art, this is so so lovely, what a wonderful cake!!
