I have tried letting them dry a little, probably not long enough.  I will try to be more patient.

I always use top exhibition roses as a guide for my centers.  They should have a tight spiral in the center and the center is ideally the highest point.  You can find some good pictures on line, just put in Top Exhibition Roses.

I found that by letting the petals dry just a bit on spoons that it is much much easier to place them and get them to maintain their shape.

Thank you Goreti and Gali!  Goreti, maybe we need to make roses together because the centers are the easiest for me.  I have a hard time getting the outer petals where I want them.  If we made them together, they would be perfect.

Roses are gorgeous and perfect.  I love the centers which is what I always have a hard time with.  Still not happy with my roses.
