I've never tried marshmallow butter cream..I want to try it.
Thanks again Inoka, this one was actually fun! I am getting the hang of it at last! I did the entire cake in the white marshmallow buttercream, and it looked pretty good too. Then decided to add the GummyGel roses for color. Everyone loves roses, especially Betty.
Very nice
Just checked my email and got the card so cute and your messages. Thanks... Just had a friend stop by gotta go for now. XXX
Thanks again for the neat compliment. You really should go to the source, and ask Betty what she does to get her 'white'!
Oh, I've seen the happy little faces devouring your creations! I have used the Crisco, clear vanilla and butter flavoring and the icing was good. I usually do the real butter thing, though. I don't mind the ivory base color, but some tints do not come out very well....like a soft pink, lavender or blue. If I am using butter, I try to go with green, yellow and orange. Besides, the pure white is just pretty!
Most people love an ivory cake! So you got it made.
Crisco with butter flavoring, and clear vanilla extract, gotta keep everything edible for Jordan. lol And the little girl next door.
Bonnie, this is such a pretty little cake! I like the way the dots swirl around the cake - like someone twisted it :o) I think the points look good...though they were deliberate??? The dark red is a perfect accent to the beautiful, pearly white. Do you Crisco to keep your icing this white or do you add white food coloring? Mine is always sort of ivory, due to butter.
