Ah yes I see what you mean Shaile. I originally thought that the inner and outer petals were of a different size, but I can see what you're getting at. You mean the part that comes off the stem and the flower comes out of - good thinking Batman! The alstromeria is a good idea too - I love that flower.
Hey Katy, at first I couldn't figure out what the the thinner cutter was for. I believe I figured it out. It is the piece that goes around the flower base as it opens. I don't know the name of that part of the flower. The other cutter are for the petals. I went and looked at the flower in person yesterday. I will attempt to make it tomorrow... also, I think you can use that cutter for the alstromaria. (sp).. talk soon
Hey Shaile - don't bust a gut please! There's plenty of time. Birthday is not till August, so even with messing up a few times (!), I still have plenty of time. I just appreciate you taking all this trouble for me.
Katy... I guess it takes more than 1 day to write something up for the flowers... i am working on it and in the next couple of days will post it.. thanks so much
WOW! Absolutely stunning!!
it has so much movement and life to the flowers , just love it
thank you , Shaile , i keep comming back to this its so beautiful
Thank you so much Shaile. I'm looking forward to tomorrow and most of all seeing the ones you make which will give me a real goal!
Thanks Katy for the photo and cutters.. I love Tinkertech... I will send you some info tomorrow. need to write it down... No, they don't look too difficult to make... These are beautiful and would love to make a stalk of them myself.
Hey Art Deco Cakes... I don't always use cutters that are made for every flower I make. I used one of the pieces of an orchid set I have. The piece that makes the side petals. If you need more info just let me know.
