LOL - Betty, I am not sure that I ever had a design. I have an art print with two Blue and Gold Macaws that convinced me I wanted to try making the birds. Don't know how I wound up with the Scarlet instead of the Blue and Gold. When the macaws came out more or less successful, I wanted a vehicle to display them. Since they are native to Central and South America, I started to think about prominent features of those regions and came up with the Mayan ruins and, of course, tropical flowers. My sister and I found the separator (have no idea what it really is) at Goodwill. I thought it might fit the design because mosaic is used prominently in Central American art. Gali talked me into the fondant painting used on the third tier :o)
You see, Betty, I can't pipe so I have to try and learn to do everything else really well!
You were right about the stand Sandra it is perfect for your cake design. It all works so well together. Beautiful!!! I have a question ??? How did you come up with this cake idea??? What was your inspiration???
