Yes Bonnie, no cutters.  I did go outside to pick up some dry leaves just to get the color right.  The acorns I just googled an image and chose one that I liked to go by.

These are wonderful, and I bet you did them by hand too! No cutters!

Thank you both.  Was so easy and I was very happy with the results.  I actually went outside to get a leaf to make a template and get an idea on the coloring.  Used a cocktail stick to do the veining.
