Share a little about the materials, processes and techniques used to create this cake: To make this cake I used fondant, royal icing and gel colors. I am a huge fan of Colette Peters Piped Royal Icing Cage and Brushed Embroidery Technique and for this cake I wanted to make it almost four dimensional so I started with painting directly onto the fondant and then used brushed embroidery to bring it off the surface, then I placed the fondant berries for the third dimension and finished with the piped royal icing cage just off of the cake.
