I live right outside Nashville, Tennessee, Gali. I am a dipped and died hillbilly :o)
if you don't live to far I can ship what I have to you ! b4 you invest in it ! but who knows you may like it ! ? I don't like the way it cakes up on the cake !
Thank you, Gali. Since you are not liking it so much, I may just start out with the alcohol thinner.
Sandra ! the colored cocoa paints are called -COCOL- cocoa butter coloring ! I have1&2 . they ea have 5 colors in them , also the jar of cocoa butter I have , plain came from on line , ebay !
Sandra , I purchase my cocoa butter on line ! , they do sell it in colors 'a water paint ! also , when warm it paints like water color !, I did try the color's , I don't care for the way they paint , as of yet , I did not find it a happy medium ,I can get you the name of the 2 sets of colors I have , give me a min !
nice job , awesome painting job
Oh, I know they are totally different, Bonnie, but I am talking about using the coconut oil as a vehicle for my gel colors, not for cooking. It is solid, so I thought it might work. Thanks, Katy. I do have alcohol...mine is more like cheap pure grain alcohol than vodka. I use it when painting gum paste.
So let me know if it works, OK???
Sandra, cocoa butter & cocoanut oil, are 2 very different things. I use cocoa butter to make white chocolate for Jordan, and can not do that with coconut oil. THAT is all I know! lol
These days Sandra I use gel colours and vodka. Back then I didn't know about such things, so I think I must have used liquid colours and diluted with water if I needed!
