Thanks for the tips Gail. I've posted a picture just today of the one I did (had to make it on the weekend). I had trouble with the webbing too and will do it differently next time. I used a polystyrene head for my cake but I love the way your head looks - will look at the rice krispies for next time.

Just got your message, have been out of town. My best advice is to use RICE KRISPIES, not a knock off. Have used both and the knock off falls apart. Also use Kraft marshmallows not a store brand. Be careful with your spider web, on one I started the web in the wrong direction and had to start over. Very easy to make and makes a BIG impact! Everyone is amazed and loves it!
