Hi Sandra! Me too! When I want to do a repair, I first chew up a piece, like you would chewing gum, When you can blow a bubble, it is ready, then stick it on the hole, crack, whatever, works every time too.
Bonnie, you are such a dodo :o( Laughing out loud here!! You are right, though, if it could be broken, I would break it! I have gotten VERY accomplished at repairing broken gum paste!
Thanks a lot Little Lady!
Bonnie . it wont melt but its not food grade , you would need to use the lg straws or flower picks to put it on a cake , so it don't touch the cake I would add sugar flowers of gum paste under them . or sugar leaves . look up DECO CLAY , THEY made a few new colors . but you still need to mix colors to get the colors you want . a tiny bit of gel colors can be used .. dries very fast so keep it covered tight . like June saz . she seals her bags
Why can't it touch the cake, if it won't break, it must be sturdy? Or will it melt? Where do I get it, and what do I look for? Thanks Gail!
Bet Sandra could break it..., just saying...
hee hee hee
They are GOOD Gail!
TY Sandra :)
They are so realistic! Beautiful!
DECO CLAY .. soft air dries ,when dry . if dropped it wont brake . http://www.decoclay.com/products/, if you love making flowers to keep or give as gifts its perfect . if putting on a cake . you must keep it from touching the cake . Karen !TY ALL
