Cake Decorating Community - Cakes We Bake

I've seen these floating cakes and commissioned someone to make one for me; worked out the support system for the cake. Voila! This was my tester cake. Cake is supported from the top and hangs freely.

Hey Gail, that sounds like it just might work.  Small cakes hanging from a tall candle stand!  Wow, be sure to take a pic for posterity. lol

The support system is literally nuts, large bolt, washers and cake boards. LOL
