Oh, I abhore when brides and grooms do it. Personal Confession time: we, in our family, have been taking a bite out of the corner of our birthday cakes using only our mouths since I was born. It's tradition. Wacky, weird, and fun tradition. Each of my babies (I have three) have each demolished the rest of their own cake after being stripped down to the diaper and all the guests have been served. It's one of those celebration things that you give yourself permission to get all messy and smile about it. I was never smart enough to get them their own cake, and now I'm done having babies. *insert sad face*
I did charge less than normal, but only because she's such a huge repeat customer. I got $40 for the both of these 4" cakes. Hip Hip Hoooray!!!!
These are adorable. I really don't understand the smash cake trend but hey who am I. Just like I really hate when brides & grooms smash cake in each other's face. Who starts these trends?
Well that's a weird idea if ever I heard one - but as you say, if they're bonkers enough to pay for it, whatever!
Bloomin' lovely these are Holly! So cute. What's a smash cake? Is she going to throw them at somebody?
