Cake Decorating Community - Cakes We Bake

Scorpion body was vanilla sponge cake, with vanilla butter cream filling, covered with fondant. The tail was made by RCT and inserted into the cake with wooden cocktail sticks.Legs, claws and eyes was made with fondant. (very fragile)

Yes, that's the one.  Topper nearly finished.  Going to put the components of the topper together today and fingers crossed nothing breaks lol!

The Cake with the removable topper? The polystyrene is your best deal. Light, sturdy and portable.  I know your cake will be elegant and beautiful!

Strange thing is that I am more of a flower and fairy girl. But it was nice to try something different for a change.
