Elmo Birthday Cake

Inside is vanilla cake and vanilla buttercream. Elmo, the flowers and the "Joy" is modeled using Duff's fondant. This cake was for a 9 year old who still loves Elmo, so I tried to give her something a little more "grown up" while still keeping Elmo's playfulness. She loved it!
