thank you Betty . yes I know . some is just to sweet . yes fondant is much easier to work with.. but I think I will stick to mostly buttercream .. now on ... unless I am asked for fondant . but I do love the lime fondant ..

I don't care for fondant myself but love the look. Hubby usually take it off and most of the buttercream too. Especially since he saw how much butter goes into SMBC.

This is such a lovely cake. Love how you did the two different shades of purple and the effect on the side is beautiful.
