It's a possible plan (to go pro); but not just yet :)

As for having time to oneself, that's a precious gift... Hold on to it & enjoy every minute.

Going pro are you Mai???   Good for you. Those days are past me now. After working 30 + years, caking is a hobby with occasional paying customer.  Just keeping it fun. Besides, wouldn't want to be tied up every wknd making & delivering cakes. Waited to long for time to myself....   :o)

Yup Mai

Fondant flowers were pushed through the stick after adding the chocolate coating.  You know, I am retired, so I have all the time in the world to fiddle & fuss. But gotta say, cake pops are a LOT of work to make.  Not hard, but very time consuming. Certainly wouldn't be popping  (couldn't resist the pun) them out every week. Be a lot more $$ charged to make these as opposed to cupcakes that's for sure.

Yeah it explains perfectly well... Never thought that the pop may drop in the melted chocolate! :)

So the fondant flowers are pushed through the stick after finishing the chocolate coating?

Thanks Mai

Ok I have made cake pops 3 ways. 1. The original way, crumbled leftover cake + bc icing, rolling them into a ball, freezing, then dipping.... very messy. 2. Bought a cake pop pan & baked them.... much easier. For these, there was a cake pop maker on sale, cheap, so I bought it. Treat to myself. They bake in 5-7 min. Fun, but had to work fast.

Adding the stick is one of the 1st steps. Once they were baked, and cool, I took the popsicle stick, poked a hole in the pop, dipped the stick into melted chocolate, placed into the pop. Then added a dribble of chocolate around the stick, let it set up,  to make sure it was secure.  When you lowere the pop into the melted chocolate, which you do several times, you don't want the pop falling off the stick!!  Yikes!  Hope this explains.   :o)

We don't have cake pops here, so I've never really seen them. I'm curious to know, do you work on them with the stick inside? or does the stick come as the last step?

I love how these look.
