haha, yes me too, but I still love to buy more and more. I will give anything a go. I have sent the instructions to your inbox here. I hope that they are easy enough to follow. They seemed pretty easy in my book ( the one mentioned in previous posts about this flower) but there are pictures to follow. Although if you also go by the photos you should be able to get it down pat.

Hi Deb
Yes this is called a Frangipani. It is a very pretty flower. That was my first attempt at them. I have been working on them again this week and will post once finished. I have managed to do them better this week as the edges need to be rolled in. I used an actual Frangipani cutter for this, however I do have the instructions on how to make them without a cutter. I can send the details of how to do this to your inbox if you like, as it may be a little long to list it all on here.

Hi again Melissa,

Well here I'm again..lol (Friday night 7:24pm here). Per our earlier messages :) The flower cutter I was referring to.. was regarding a this picture of your's. Not sure what type of flower it is? I just know that I love the look and how you colored just the centers. This is the same pic that someone else was asking to see the bottom of (posting below). Do you recall what flower cutter you used for these? They are so pretty.

I have also just purchased off ebay a Wilton Gumpaste Flower making kit. Comes with about 30 or so different cutters and some tools. This also offers quite a variation in flowers and comes with an instruction booklet. I am looking forward to receiving it.

I want to learn so much more as well. I have managed to get my roses under control and have done frangipanis for the second time, but there are so much more to do. I have a book that I bought of ebay called - Cake Decorating by Fay Gardner. It was published in 1988. It gives you a wide range of flowers to make but also gives you the steps on how to make these without having to purchase all kinds of cutters which I thought was really good. It can be time consuming however saves you a lot of money. Plus I think it gives you the extra skills that you dont get by just using the cutters to make your flowers.

I am in the middle of making some more at the moment, will add a photo once done. Pretty much just fanned the petals and closed them over and twisted the bottom a little. Hoping to finish colouring them tonight.
