Bear with the little fellow, Denise.  I don't think there is a better dog than a lab.  He just had the misfortune of landing wrong.  I think your feathers look really good.  I certainly didn't have to look twice to know what they were!

Thank you very much. These are my 2nd set. When my son saw the 1st ones I made he told me they looked like leaves so in the garbage they went. I thought about making wafer paper ones b/c I had made some for my granddaughter's bday/graduation cake & they came out really good for my 1st time ever making them. I'm trying to squeeze some of this in between taking care of my still invalid puppy. He's on sedatives now to keep him calm so he doesn't reinjure himself. Yesterday made 3 weeks but it seems like a lifetime. I thought maybe the splint would be off after 4 weeks but I may possibly be looking at another 2 weeks. I think lab puppies are meant to be had when you're in your 20's, 30's, & possibly even in your 40's but getting one when you're just a few months shy of 60, what was I thinking...lol? What can I say, the little bruiser done stole my heart so I guess I'll keep him :-)

Your feathers look wonderful!  I like to make feathers.  Can't wait to see your cake, Denise.  She is going to love it.
