Also... watch for Kathleen Lange's name at any "Cake Shows" near you... she teaches this technique... and she's quite wonderful... She travels all the time so she will be showing up somewhere at a cake show close to you... sometime...? And not doubt... you can do this as well or better then me... a little coaching is all you'll need...

Galidink... I always love your work...! A book you can check out on Amazon (or any of the other web sights) is "The Wilton Way of Cake Decorating" Volume One... It's the old book from the 70's... It has a lot of the "Lambeth" Method stuff in it... You really have to use Royal icing for the string work... and ad a little lemon juice for strengthening.... about a fourth of a cup for every 8 cups of powdered sugar...

god this is so beautiful , i wish i could pipe ; ( , and make beautiful cakes ; (, my art work is more , theatrical , not pretty ,alltho it seems i can do some flowers ! ? i dont get it,  lol  , this is awesome work ,to pretty to be cut, some day i will try some thing like this , and i'l post itno matter how bad it comes , again beautiful job ; )
