yes free form ! and thank you so much ;x
This is AWEsome! I luv it! Are all your characters freeform or from a mold?
thank you Rosemarie
Wow, beautiful work.
yes you can , but she wants to keep it all , after the cake is finished ,she will incase it in glass! if you want to re-use it you can , just need to keep it covered tight in a dry cool place !
So will be you be able to use your stand for other cakes after this one? Can't wait to see the finished product.
fondant wont melt as you work with it , chocolate clay melts ,if you need a smooth chocolate than its ok , you can smooth it with your warm hands so you need to work fast , in hot weather its best to use fondant & or gumpaste !, the water is isomalt
thank you ;x first I make all the figures, made most of the stuff 2 mo's ago or more ! so its hard as a rock ,than covered the RCT with chocolate let that set up and get hard than cover in chocolate, coverd the RCT-stand and the board 2day about 3 hr's than added all the other stuff , the cake will be a tree stump with more flowers & fairys & few other deco's all is made free hand , sep for the pansy's !
Simply fantastic!! Hope you don't mind if I have a few questions. How time consuming was this to put together? You say this is a "cake stand". What kind of cake will you be making to go on this stand? I see a lot of posts about "modeling chocolate". How is that different from fondant & gum paste to work with? Thanks
