Cake Decorating Community - Cakes We Bake

Yet another clay flower to show my CCDG ladies. This flower was time consuming to make, but the plus side is, petals won’t break off if bumped or dropped as there not gumpaste, which, as we all know, is so fragile.

G: I was thinking about your Dahlia the whole time I was making mine....kept thinking...man, after all this work...I'd die if my petals broke...I do have to say..I like the look gumpaste gives.....but don't like how fragile it is....

It is gorgeous but yes it is very time consuming.  Wish I had made mine in clay since it fell and broke into pieces.  boo hoo hoo

June, this is absolutely gorgeous!  If you had not indicated otherwise, I would have excepted it as real and not given it a second thought!
