Thank you. The painting is done with royal icing and gel paste. On the palette, I used gel paste straight out of the container on top of dried royal icing blobs. I wanted it to look wet and gooey like oil paint.

The paintbrush has a skewer in it, sticking out of the paintbrush bristles.

nice job! I love the painting. Is it edible? what type of food coloring did you use and did you mix it with anything? I've mixed gel colors with water but I have a lot of difficulty with it.

This is awesome!! I'm adding one of mine that I made for my mom that is very similar. I like yours better lol Just curious, how did you get the paint brush to stand.

I just changed the proportions of everything...she just ate pieces of different parts. My father took home all the decorations with him. But, my son bit into the painting.
