Thank you very much Gail.  I went swimming, laid out in the sun to dry a while,then fixed dinner, & just now realized that I had not signed off!  AGAIN!   I keep doing that!  Something happens & I just get up & walk away..., or I go to another site without closing this one.  But it looks like I am a very dedicated 'caker'! lol

This was my version of what you called 'Death By Chocolate'!  Choc. Brownie cake, choc. caramel crème filling, choc. ganacge, and choc. roses.

 Hi Gail!  You were right, very yummy!

I finished the Fudge Brownie Cake (smelled terrific!), a 6" & a 4".  This is going to be a practice cake for Ethan's BD in a week, minus the roses of course!. 

Torted, & filled them with Chocolate Caramel Cream.

Poured the chocolate ganache over both, then stacked them.   

I took the leftover chocolate ganache in the pan, and added sugar for chocolate buttercream piping consistency.  Looks like I needed a little more sugar!

Lastly, I added the chocolate roses & such to the cake.  Not just because I had a lot leftover, but because this was my first time pouring ganache, and I was not satisfied with the outcome. So I hid it!

Took the cake to my son's office, and the girls that work there(my very own personal gennypigs-lol), just loved it.  One of them is always trying to figure out what is in them by tasting them so s-l-o-w-l-y... lol, but she is usually right, or pretty darn close.  My sister can do the same thing.  Anyway, I told them I had come to put them out of their misery, by bringing them a 'Death By Chocolate' cake to eat! {[:0)

I hope so , just took her cake over to her , I will post it I made white cake with BETTERCREAM FILLING WITH MIXED BERRIES /p>

That was so sweet of you Gail, very thoughtful!!!! I know what it is to not be able to walk to well I use a cane myself.

 I GOT  a new friend ! , well been out side bye my mail box ! when the woman across the road was trying to move rocks with her walking stick !, so I watch for a few min's ; / noticed she was not able to move them ! and looked like she would fall ,  I knew she was older than I , so I called to her ! noticing her hearing was not good , so I crossed the road , to help her ! moved as many rocks that I could for her , she told me the snow plow , plowed down her rock wall ! , we started to talk , I had to be real loud for her to hear me , she told me she was 88 ! seems like a beautiful woman , she was so happy to have some1 to talk to , she had a very long walk back to her door !, so I am thinking , its so hard for her , I will try helping her out , her trash pick up comes Monday , so Sunday I will take  out her trash for her ! and check her mail for her , , now I will make that woman a new friend , and bake her a pretty  mini cake ,she wants me to visit her as much as I can ! I am not a coffee clutch person , but she seems so very lonely , she had tears in her eyes when she told me she was alone and lost her husband in 2008 ,and  that she was ready to go with him just waiting to go !  how sad to be so lonely every day !I feel like a have no choice than to look after her now , the best I can ! she has no children ! GOD SENT ME TO HER , AS SHE SAID !
