Happy New Years Everyone. Last night I finally tried making a cake pop bouquet. It is a surprise present for my Aunt. I hope she likes it. The cake pops are covered in fondant petals, yellow cake with strawberry better creme filling. The gold sticks are store bought pirouette cookies luster dusted in antique gold. Thanks for looking. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, add a little tylose or Gumtex to your fondant and knead in before rolling and cutting. Sorry, I always guess the amt. I usually cut a hunk of fondant and add no more than 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. Experiment! This will give the fondant structure to hold its shape of whatever you are cutting out. I use a pasta machine to roll out my fondant also. Roll out to setting #3 or #4. Again, have fun making your flowers! Best Wishes and Thank you!

Feel free to make them. I used the cake pop pan. It was a gift. I love baking the cake pops and filling. To make the rose buds, Bake and cool, pop them out of the pan. Melt Candy melts or chocolate, have some lollipop sticks ready. Stick the lollipop sticks in the candy melt and stick it in the middle of the round side of the cake pop. Usually with baking cake pops the top is round and bottom has a cone shape. Let dry in frig 15-20 minutes. Next, dip the whole cake pop in the candy melt or chocolate, let dry. Roll out your fondant slightly thin and cut out with either an egg or oval shaped cookie cutter or a extra large 5-petal rose cutter. I used piping gel to glue everything on. To get the center, your first petal, cut one of your petals in half and wrap around the just the very top of your pop. Then add the next five petals over lapping going around the cake pop.
